There’s Still Time to Register for Lobby Day
Posted onby
It will happen on Tuesday, April 7th
Now is the time to get yourself heard. With the legislature poised to start voting on the governor’s budget later this month there couldn’t be a better time for the Bike Fed’s Lobby Day 2015.
Details are now firmed up and here’s how it looks.
We’ll start at 12:30 PM with registration at the Concourse Hotel, a block from the Capitol.
We’ll give citizen-lobbyists background on our issues and some tips on how to be persuasive. Everyone will get a packet with everything you need. We will have even scheduled the meetings for you.
Everyone will have just two meetings: one with their state senator and the other with their state representative.
So, literally all you need to do is register now and show up at the Concourse at 12:30 on Tuesday afternoon. We’ll give you everything you need from there.
And we’ll finish the day at 4:30 with a debriefing and a beverage at the fantastic Mansion Hill Inn compliments of Trek.
Now’s the time to turn the tide and to restore Complete Streets, Transportation Alternatives Funding and the Stewardship Fund.
We know it’s asking a lot to take an afternoon out of a busy week to come to the Capitol, but we promise that it will be time well invested in better biking for everyone.
